Safe Harbor Baptist Church was founded in March of 1999 by our
current pastor, Gary Gilbert. Since that spring, our church has steadily grown by reaching
out to our neighborhoods and families to bring them to church.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Safe Harbor Baptist is a vibrant, family-oriented church located in Cochranville, PA. Since its founding in 1999, the church has been dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all who enter. We foster a spirit of community and fellowship and strive to nurture the spiritual growth of our members. Our Pastor, Gary Gilbert, has been preaching with us since the beginning, leading us in our mission.
At Safe Harbor Baptist, we are passionate about sharing the good news of the gospel and bringing glory to God. We invite you to join us for worship and to explore the many activities and events we offer.

Our sermons are read out of the King James Version of the Christian bible, provided in the pews, by Pastor Gary Gilbert or Pastor Peter Kratofilow. Adult Sunday School is preached by Deacon Patrick Miner, which goes into a deeper analysis of the bible for those who seek further understanding of the scripture. We understand that God did not intend for his word to be diminished. Therefore, Pastor's sermons deliver the truth of the bible without modern-day censorship or standards. Despite denying modern tradition, we still welcome everyone into our church with open arms regardless of physical, personal, social, or spiritual status. Our main priority is to lead you to the open and loving arms of Jesus Christ.

Department
Our services are sung out of Bible Truth Hymns. Our choir is volunteer and led by our pianist, Janice Fairman. Individual church members also sing specials every Sunday. Along with our music department, our youth group is led in song by our own guitarist and anyone who chooses to bring their instrument. Our brand new children's choral group will soon open for anyone who wishes to participate, with more details to come.

We broadcast every available service to Facebook Live, where anyone can tune in to the message. Our broadcast is as scheduled:

*All services, with some exceptions, that are held outside of normal service times will be broadcasted. (ex: A Christmas Service will be broadcasted, but VBS services will not)
